Heyyyooo! So yeah, this is where we're at... but by we, I don't mean me. Haha! Sorry loves. I'm just such a huge fan of epigenetics, breathing fully and freely and living my life by totally embracing the living part. I'm also an even BIGGER advocate for personal responsibility and being a conscious gatekeeper of our authority (You can hear about that here.) And if that's not enough, I'm an Aries sun, Sagittarius moon. Lockdown is just not in my vocabulary. Not in the original "advised" sense of the phrase anyways. Whatever the least restrictive version of lockdown is... that's what I'm doing, haha! But regardless of where any one of us stands, I firmly believe in doing what's right for you and your family.
With that said, I've noticed one of the most frequent questions circulating in the media-sphere and one I've been personally asked at least a dozen times, is "How are you coping?" Now, while I may not coping with the same things given my non-compliancy, I am coping. I mean, relatively anyways. (It's hard being human.) So I thought I'd share a few things, coping mechanisms if you will, that are serving me GREATLY at this time.
1. Knowing, in the deepest roots of my soul, what I believe, why, and how to articulate it in a way that leaves people completely and utterly flabbergasted or confused. (I prefer the latter.)
2. Walking... like 50 times a day.
3. Endlessly brainstorming ways to sneak on the beach.
4. Face-planting.
5. F*cking hugging people. (Update 01/21: See The Hug Clinic.)
6. Playing with presence.
7. Non-compliancy. As much or as little. Because flexibility is needed at this time. This brings me to...
8. Compassion. For yourself and others. Always.
9. Continuing my education in shamanism and tantric alchemy.
10. Feeling whatever feeling at the time I'm feeling it.
11. Owning that I chose to be here, in this particular moment in time and trusting that my role will unveil and unfold in perfect divine timing.
12. Posts like these:
13. Earthing.
14. Vow of silence. (It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.)
15. Digital painting.
16. Writing letters to public officials.
17. Scream therapy. (Read in detail here.)
18. Praying for strength, wisdom, guidance, and countless miracles. (Update 11/20: Every prayer was answered.)
How about you? How are you coping with the lockdown? I'd love to hear any and all suggestions, while at the same time hoping that we won't need them much longer!
