That's right! I la la la LOVE them! So much so that I thought I'd share them with all of y'all cause "sharing is caring." Right? Unless it's food, then sharing is highway robbery. (Don't touch my plate.) Anyways, haha! These photographers are people whose work I not only admire but with whom I deeply resonate with on a personal level. Their approach to photography and the industry as a whole is inspiring, deeply rooted with intention and a pure passion for their work. Their work is of the upmost quality technically, but contains an effortless natural beauty that most photographers only dream of achieving. I'm choosing to refrain from writing more than a sentence or two about each individual photographer as I believe their work will speak for itself. So without further ado...
1. BeJamin (@bejamin)
Seriously, one of the most AMAZING landscape artists out there, his images invoke an exceptional feeling of awe, delightedness and serenity.
2. Jellan Merlant-Pilonchery (@clash.studio)
Honestly, Jellan's work is so good I forget that 99.9% of it is nudity. I'm enamored with his usage of lighting and the way in which he cinematically tells a story is mesmerizing. So much talent!
3. Kyle Sullivan (@kyleqsullivan)
I discovered Kyle Sullivan during my last trip to Hawaii. His work has an understated quality about it, which I always favor over the hyped up, overly edited landscape photography that seems to flood the platform. The time-lapse of Mauna Kea is a DREAM!
4. Paty Fritsch Foto (@patyfritsch)
I just stumbled across Paty's work for the first time a few weeks ago and I remembered thinking "Holy shit yes!" Paty captures so much authenticity in her photographs, it hurts to go through her profile.
5. Josue Rivas (@josue_foto)
I was introduced to Josue's work through his coverage of the NODAPL movement and the protests at Standing Rock. His photo stories have moved me to tears and I find his photojournalistic approach to portraiture extremely refreshing.
So, there you have it loves! What about you? Who are some of your favorite photographers (on Instagram or otherwise)? Or is there some other (non-photog related) Instagrammer you love? If so, I'd love to hear so feel free to leave a comment :)
