Hello loves!! This week I'm giving a little backstory to a photo that has prompted a few questions on my social media accounts. So grab Scott Bakula again cause we're going waaaaay back... to 1997.
This image was solely inspired by the man standing directly in front of the camera, my then boyfriend (now husband) Travis. It was 1997, I was 17 and we had just arrived (via a six-hour bus ride) in New York City. New York was new to us, neither of us had been before but at the time, it was my ONLY conceivable dream. We had eight hours exactly and this 18-year-old kid took my hand and led me sight-by-sight through Manhattan. Macy's, Madison Square Garden, Bryant Park, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Fifth Avenue, Central Park. All in eight hours. It's crazy! We had only been dating eight months but I swear it was in that eight hours that I knew we were going to know each other for a while longer.
Shot with a Minolta 35mm point-and-shoot from the mid-90's :)
