notice how i emphasized the word ‘constantly’...
there’s a huuuuuge difference between fostering a healthy relationship with the healing process and becoming entirely consumed by it, to the extent that it becomes a large part of our identity.
healing is a beautiful and ongoing process. one that ebbs and flows, unpredictably. we never know when the Universe will deliver its next transformative “blow”, prompting us to learn, surrender, integrate, evolve, and grow as individuals (if we choose to, of course).
however, healing doesn’t need to be endlessly drawn out (or sought out).
incessantly delving into ancestral trauma, past lives upon past lives, revisiting moments that might not require healing is unnecessary and unhealthy (in my personal and professional experience). and quite honestly, doing so is a strong indicator that you are “addicted” to the very identity you are working so deeply to transform. 🐍
so please, before you sign up for another cacao ceremony or breath circle or three-month container, just take a pause, go within and observe your state of being. what is your body communicating to you? what problem or discomfort is your mind attempting to solve? get clear about your intentions. while we can certainly explore this aspect of our existence, it shouldn’t obstruct our capacity to LIVE!!! 💃🏻
afterall, wasn’t that the initial reason you embarked on this journey? ✨
