So I thought I'd reshare a post I wrote last winter as well as add a little more perspective to lend you more of an abundance attitude adjustment, haha! And should you want to dive deeper, join Altar to watch the Oct. 27th replay! We discuss abundance and participate in an exercise to gain clarity on the aspects of abundance that are present in our lives, whether they are aspects we truly value and explore how to shift them if they're not.
Oftentimes, when we hear the word abundance, only one form comes to mind. For many of us, it’s easy to picture wealth, financial security, and material comforts. But if we limit our understanding of abundance to just what we own, we miss the incredible richness in our lives that extends far beyond our bank accounts. Abundance surrounds us in ways we might not immediately notice, and learning to appreciate these non-material gifts can transform the way we experience life. So, let’s explore the many forms of abundance that are always present, waiting to be noticed and cherished.
Spiritual
My personal fave!! Bring on insane levels of MAGIC!! Spiritual abundance encompasses the sense of connection to something greater than ourselves, whether through nature, community, or a higher power. This deep sense of purpose, inner peace, and the feeling of being part of the Universe's flow enriches our lives in ways that material possessions simply cannot. Abundance in this area can look like signs, synchronicities, psychic awareness, intuitive and spiritual gifts, prayers answered, forms of Divine communication/intervention, etc.
Health and Well-being
Our physical health, mental clarity, and emotional resilience are invaluable gifts. The ability to wake up with energy, to move freely, and to face challenges with strength are forms of abundance that empower us daily. When we pause to appreciate our health and well-being, we deepen our gratitude for the body and mind that carry us through life.
Relationships and Connections
True wealth often lies in the people around us. Love from family, companionship from friends, and the guidance of mentors create a support network that sustains us. These connections enrich our lives, provide emotional strength, and remind us that we are never alone on our journey.
Gratitude and Joy
Abundance is also found in moments of joy, laughter, and gratitude. Small wins, shared smiles, and acts of kindness remind us that life is filled with reasons to be grateful. Tuning into these moments opens our hearts to the ever-present wealth of experiences that bring light into our lives.
Personal Growth and Self-Understanding
Every experience — big or small — is an opportunity to learn more about ourselves. Whether through challenges or triumphs, we discover new strengths and vulnerabilities that shape our character. This growth and self-understanding are essential forms of abundance, helping us to evolve and become more connected with our true selves.
Time
Time is perhaps one of the most precious gifts. It allows us moments for rest, play, reflection, and meaningful connections. Recognizing the abundance of time we have —even if only in short, present moments — reminds us to savor life as it unfolds.
Nature and Environment
From the breathtaking beauty of the natural world to the quiet rustling of trees, nature provides a continuous flow of abundance. We often take for granted the fresh air, clean water, and stunning landscapes around us, yet they nourish and restore us in ways money never could.
Freedom and Opportunity
The freedom to dream, express ourselves, and pursue goals represents an immense form of abundance. In a world where opportunities to learn, grow, and create are plentiful, we have countless ways to fulfill our potential and make a positive impact on the world around us.
Technology and Tools
In this digital age, we have unparalleled access to information, connection, and convenience. Technology simplifies our tasks, keeps us connected, and gives us opportunities to learn and grow in new ways. These tools are an incredible source of abundance that empowers us to achieve more with ease.
Creativity and Imagination
Our minds have a boundless capacity to create and imagine. The ability to dream, express, and explore our creativity is a powerful source of abundance that enhances our lives in ways that material wealth cannot. Through art, music, writing, and all forms of creative expression, we connect with a part of ourselves that feels limitless.

Abundance attitude adjusted yet or shall I keep going? Haha! I'll stop here but I'd love to hear the ways in which abundance shows up in your life! Which one is your favorite? Which is a struggle to recognize? What aspect would you love to experience more abundance? What areas could you do a better job appreciating? How?
I know there's a lot to reflect on here but appreciating these forms of abundance brings us closer to a life that feels truly rich — one where we see value in every experience, every connection, and every breath. It’s a reminder that wealth isn’t about accumulating things; it’s about noticing and celebrating the gifts we already have.
